Knowledge Management Case Study
Here’s a current paper I have submitted for publication. If all goes well, it will be published on a March 2008 issue.
Title: Knowledge Portal – Knowledge Management on a Global IT Consulting Firm
The remarkable discovery of this paper is how we can observe the firm evolutionary change itself from data management to information management to knowledge management. Not because of the idea or concept, but because of the need of the organization to change based on the needs of its clients and the primary driver of change which is information technology.
Abstract
This paper examines the evolutionary development of a Knowledge Portal. The key aspect of the case study looks into how the organization adapts the use of knowledge management by aligning the business goals and objectives towards the use of technology assistance. It therefore provides us insights into the business not adapting to the technology, but instead technology adapting to the needs of the business.
The paper looks into the organization’s strategy on using knowledge management by means of evolutionarily adapting to the needs of the organization to keep up with the changes and demands of its clients and the fast-evolving industry of information technology.

If and when this paper becomes published, I will provide you with the link to the electronic journal.
I’ve decided to upload the paper itself prior and not wait to hear from the publication. Here’s the link: KM Case Study Research
